[...] So last week, Deanna over at Deanna's Corner tagged me with this "six weird things" post and I decided to go ahead and go through with it. I'm not going to perpetuate the game, I wont be tagging anyone else (I wonder if there are any horrible consequences?), but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to publicly humiliate myself. So, here goes! [...]

Okay, Six Weird Things . . . Are you sure I can’t add onto your list?

1. A BIG pet peeve is that I hate – HATE – stepping on a wet floor with socks on. If I’m barefoot it doesn’t matter, but I hate getting a wet spot on my sock because it doesn’t dry as quickly as my foot does. Just ask Oddball how much I hate it when he drips water on the floor.

2. Unlike my elder sister, I am ticklish everywhere! Again, just ask Oddball.

3. Like my sister, I don’t drink alcohol. But my choice is because I think it is vile habit (that, too often, has led people to destroy their lives) and I have no good reason to drink, but then again who does? It doesn’t smell good, it’s only good for you in very small amounts (of red wine, but you can get nearly the same effects from red grapes – which are yummy), and I’m told it’s an acquired taste. So why bother acquiring it? I am proud of the fact that I have never had a drink.

4. I am incredibly shy around new people. This is so much of a problem that I don’t make eye-contact or speak to people I don’t know – unless approached, which makes me nervous.

5. I don’t like being hugged by people I’ve just met or don’t know very well (the only exception to this was in the receiving line for my wedding) or people I don’t like. This especially applies to people who think they know well.

6. I make up funny little songs that I sing to Little Cousin. The “Peanut Song” and the “(I’m a) Good Girl Song” are a couple. Only I can sing them for her and they make her smile.

P.S. I walk like a normal person!
