My only problem with the backpack leashes like you’re describing, and I can understand that sometimes they are necisary, (and I can tell, from the way you write about your kids that you aren’t one of these parents) that I’ve noticed parents or grandparents around here… If the kids start to run th e opposite direction, and they reach the end of the leash, and fall down, the parents will just drag them on the ground crying, until the kid finally stands up. It’s left a bad taste in my mouth. Like I said, though, I’m not saying that you’d be like that, because I can tell that you care about your kids far more than they possibly could. =) Maybe the parents around here are just jerks or something.
