Santa brought Swee'Pea a book called Pinkalicious - which is about a girl who eats so many pink cupcakes that she turns pink.

Both Swee'Pea and TheMonk love it and can now recite most of it by heart.

They are also loving Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs too. The idea of food falling from the sky is pretty cool.

Right now I'm supposedly reading Augustine's commentaries on Genesis. Not exactly light reading. Before that I read The Nine by Jeffrey Toobin, which is a pretty good book about the Supreme Court, but not as good as Jan Crawford Greenburg's Supreme Conflict--both are worth reading, though. (My dad suggests Clarence Thomas' My Grandfather's Son, and Joan Biskupic's biography of Sandra Day O'Connor is really good also. All the Supreme Court reading you could ask for. Read those and get back to me when you finish all of them. You know, a week from now.)

I just found out the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art 1. exists and 2. is within a two-hour drive of us (in Amherst, MA). !!! I have been reading Auletta various Eric Carle books. Also Goodnight Moon, since (I think I can safely say this here) she's been given five copies of it.
