Last Race!

Of course, the new school T-shirt I ordered for Ane comes the DAY before the LAST cross-country meet of the season.  Grrrr.

The Webmaster took her (I stayed home with the boys), and she placed an all-time personal best of 29th place out of 51 girls!

We celebrated her last race by meeting up with Danny and John and their mom (Danny ran cross-country for his school this year, too, and we’ve seen them at the last two meets) for frozen yogurt!  I packed up the boys and drove them over to Menchie’s (our designated froyo stop), where Tad was stunned and delighted to see “my Danny” as a special surprise.

With the Webmaster starting his new job next week, I’m glad that cross-country is over for this season!  But I’m also glad that Ane’s had fun running.
