Flashback Friday

For the last week, while Grandma and Gichan have been enjoying their turn with the Major and Q-Bee in Hawaii, we have been dog-sitting.  It’s been enlightening, to say the least.

When Talli first came into our lives, in April of 2014, she was about 5 or 6 months old – a fairly large puppy.

Rerun and Talli

Now, she’s 2 and a half, and is a puppy trapped in a big dog’s body.

Big Talli dog

She’s actually adapted pretty well to living here, though it is kind of comical to see her walk backwards down our hallway occasionally.  If she follows someone to a bedroom, and then backs up as they come out, she has to keep walking backward because she’s too big to turn around in the hallway.

Oh no, I am puppy

See… she’s just a tiny puppy!  Look how small a ball she is?  HA.

MUST LICK BOY

The kids have done really pretty well with her – other than the one incident when Rerun tried to “fight” her by jumping on her.  He needed a couple band-aids.

Talli is a sweet girl with a large bark, and she sees all of us as “her” people.  I think the kids will miss her.

(The Webmaster will not miss the fur.)
