Friday again
I haven’t watched anything. I’m trying to think… I finally made it through the newest episode of Iron Chef America (after falling asleep through it twice), and I watched the Muppet Movie last night with the Munchkin. We usually do watch something fun on Thursday nights when the Webmaster is away at choir rehearsal. The Webmaster saw Batman Begins last weekend and reviewed it on his blog, so go check it out if you’re interested.
Actually, my mind has been a little preoccupied between being pregnant and some dicipline problems with the Munchkin. She’s gotten a little aggressively spiteful recently, and I’m not sure if I’m starting to project some of my own frustrations a little too much and she’s just responding to that, or if her life is just hard at the moment. Maybe a little of both. Plus she hasn’t had a bowel movement in 24 hours, so maybe she’s just constipated. Who knows? But I think we’re going to take it easy and play today. I know that she wants me to rough-house with her like her Daddy does, but unfortunately, Mommy is too big and awkward to be doing that – something else she doesn’t understand.
It must be hard being a toddler. It’s a good thing she won’t remember anything of this.
So, this weekend is my last Mariner game of the season. I hope the weather is nice and temperate, and that they win. The Munchkin will spend some quality time with her auntie and grandparents. I see my weekends slipping away from me, and I don’t have too many of them left before Munchkin #2 arrives. Just a programming note – when he does arrive, I will post the announcement on this blog, and then be taking a couple of weeks off. I might find some time to post the occasional comment, but I’ll at least need a little time after giving birth to recover and have something coherent to say before I come back to my daily blogging. I know you all understand. But rest assured, I enjoy doing this too much to give it up. So I will be back.
