Cookie Monsters

Here are some pictures from our cookie baking last week, when we were snowed in.

First, the Munchkin as Mommy’s helper:

And then Tad as the gingerbread quality control specialist (I attempted to keep him out of our way with a chunk of gingerbread dough and a plastic rolling pin in his highchair, which distracted him for a while):

Yes, he’s eating raw cookie dough. But no one panic – there are no eggs in this particular gingerbread recipe, which I posted last December at the joint cooking blog I do with Juliet (aka Girl With Flat Hat), De Re Coquinaria. I will be posting cookie recipes for this Christmas when I get the chance. Any requests for a specific cookie?
