Christmas Snapshots

As promised, here are some more pictures (mostly of Tad) from our Christmas celebrations:

Tad was fascinated by ribbons. Left to himself, he would have played with one package for hours before beating it into submission.

Of course, who needs presents? Just give the boy a fly swatter and he’s happy.

Christmas morning at home. Tad got a brand-new Mariners hat from Santa in his stocking. Maybe that will turn their luck around this year?

A kid’s WWII replica helmet – a gift from Uncle Captain. The Webmaster is holding Tad’s hands down to keep him from taking it off so Mommy could snap the picture.

Tad’s favorite Christmas toy: the push popper. Noise and movement with no batteries. The ideal boy toy.

And finally, Ane gets her pink flashlight, courtesy of Grandma and Gichan. It also came with a Cinderella nightlight, which she loves. Though the first time I plugged it in and we turned off the lights, Ane gasped and cried, “Mommy, Cinderella burning!” She’s gotten over that now.

I’ll do a Christmas debriefing tomorrow, with the best kid story from the whole weekend. Ane’s party went off pretty well, and I’ll have pictures of that soon, too.
