Rain
It is absolutely pouring outside. Even going from the front door to the car guarantees that you will get very wet – especially when you add in buckling kids into car seats.
Speaking of which, does anyone out there favor any particular booster-type car seat for an older child? We’re looking at getting a smaller back-up car seat for Ane, and probably Tad, too.
Back to the rain. Yesterday was one constant drizzle – so much so that I started a fire while the kids were napping. And so far today, it’s just a downpour. Yuck.
But nothing can dampen Ane’s mood – it’s Tuesday, and that means a play date and storytime at the library tonight!
Maybe we should be wearing our boots to go out today.

I wish the rain here in Texas was like the rain back home. When it rains here, it’s 75 degrees outside with rolling thunder and lightening.

Hmmm… I don’t know about smaller, but I love the Alpha Omega’s my kids use. Both have used them since they were too big for the carrier seats, but too small to be forward-facing. Now, The Princess is using it as a booster. I think it can hold upto 80 lbs.

We have a Britax Hi-liner for Mophead (booster seat) It came out very well in tests. Dustbunny still uses her Maxi Cosy Priory XP – this one also has side protection – again very good in the safety tests.
