Helmet Attack!

This is what happens when you let my kids play with their Auntie’s batting and catcher’s helmets. Or should I say, this is what happens when Auntie doesn’t put her sports equipment away when the niece and nephew come to play? Hmm…

Ane is doing well with the catcher’s mask, but Tad is a little top-heavy in the batting helmet.

He sort of solved this problem.

Ane, of course, turned this into a head-butting contest. Tad lost his footing after this picture. Then they switched helmets.

Tad did better with the catcher’s mask because it came down right to his shoulders. Give the kid a chestplate and a cape, and he can be Darth Vader for Halloween.

Yes, they had fun with Auntie’s stuff. They weren’t allowed to play with her bats, though – Grandma likes her windows intact. 🙂
