I LIVE!!!

We are in Missouri. We have all our luggage. Everyone is in one piece.

*whew*

The kids actually did very well on the plane flights. We flew from Seattle to Denver, and then from Denver to Springfield, Missouri, where the Captain, Q-Bee, and Belle were waiting eagerly for us. Traveling solo with two small children is certainly character-building, let me say. I was very dependent on the kindness of strangers, who had the utmost sympathy for a lone mom trying to manage two kids. I got a lot of help, for which I am extraordinarily grateful.

So, here we are. It is a real pleasure to get to spend time with my brother and his family. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and that you spend some time with your own families, too.
