Q-Bee and I spent Wednesday driving around St. Louis and having fun with the kids. The Magic House? AWESOME. Q-Bee said she thinks that was her favorite spot. The zoo? Fabulous. The penguin exhibit was spectacular. The penguins are so used to the crowds that they swim and show off for everyone – one penguin was so into it that he was splashing the crowd! I haven’t heard Ane giggle in pure delight like that in a long time.

We flew back yesterday – Ane was very sad to leave Belle and her aunt and uncle (I think she likes their house better) – and had a REALLY long layover in Denver. Our plane kept getting delayed and then we had a gate change… it was not pretty. By the time we met up with the Webmaster, it was well past the kids’ CDT bedtime, and approaching their PDT bedtime. They crashed in the car on the way home, and we could barely rouse them to put their pajamas on and brush their teeth.

They ate breakfast this morning like ravenous monkeys, the poor things.

Anyway, I have mounds of laundry and a Stampin’ Up open house here tomorrow (yes, I am insane), so I will catch you all on Monday. Have a great weekend!
