Today is the day!
The cast comes off TODAY!!!
WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!
I’m excited; can’t you tell?
Tad has done very well these last three weeks and has learned to get around his temporary “handicap” quite well. We got lots of photos of him with the cast on. Here’s a sample of what the last three weeks have been like for him, in pictures:
I will let you all know how the cast removal goes… Ane will be hanging out with CW Mom, Carter the dog, and Wocket while we are at the hospital. I am taking muffins as a peace offering and as a thank-you.
And thank you to all of you for your support during this interesting and complicated time for our family, and your prayers and good wishes for Tad’s quick recovery. We deeply appreciate it.

Yay for Tad!! I’m so glad his cast is coming off. =) When I was 3, I had a cast from my ankle to my bum, and mom said that it took me a week, but I learned how to get around with it easily, as well. It’s amazing how quickly kids can adjust to something, yet some adults can’t adjust at all.

Enjoy your return to freedom SAFELY, Tad.

I’m so sorry – I haven’t been checking up on you all for ages and I totally missed this. Hope Tad is feeling much better!
Please give Tad (and you all!) a big hug from all of us here.

I’m totally coming to your place for ice cream from now on.
That is, if Tad will share.
