The first 29th birthday

Yup, it’s true.

Today is my 29th birthday. My first 29th birthday.

Let’s see… what do I want to do with this next year of my life before I turn 30?

The dishes, to start with. And the laundry. Those towels aren’t going to wash themselves.

Hmm… I seem to not have any brilliant ideas for the next year. Other than getting Ane to school on time and faithfully working with Tad in speech therapy, and trying to keep up on the housework and my hobbies. Should I have a grandiose goal for the next year of my life? If you’ve got an idea for me, leave it in the comments.

In the meantime, after the dishes are done and the towels get started, I have some new books to read – both library ones and some other fun ones that I treated myself to. Tell you all about them on Monday.

Happy weekend, everyone!

Happy Birthday, Big Sister! With all that’s been going on, a new baby and no sleep, I forgot to send you a card, but I did get you a gift. It’s at Mom and Dad’s. I’ll give you a call later today!

Come jump on the neighbors trampoline in the rain. Hey you only turn 29 once.

Happy Birthday! In my experience, once you get past 30 you start to lose track, of your age, of your hair, and of your wits.

    Ah, youth.

Looking forward to Red Robin (and awaiting my coupon, which I should have already … time to sign up again?)

    Happy Birthday!

Just enjoy the last year of your twenties. You never get those back.
