Are you for real, kid?

Tad had a great time at speech therapy yesterday. He sees it as the best playtime possible, and now he has started to cry when he has to leave.

This sounds strangely familiar.

Therapist #1 had him playing with Marble Works – a set of building pieces that have slides and slots for marbles to go through. Tad loved it. Therapist #1 offered him a marble, and of course, he needed two – one for each hand.

At one point, he dropped one and it bounced into Therapist #1’s lap. She said, “Uh-oh, where is it?”

Tad immediately dived into her lap and came up with the marble. “I found it!” he announced.

I found it.

WHAT. THE. !?&?%$???

Therapist #1 looked at me and I looked at her. “Did you hear that?” she asked me. I nodded. She wrote it down on her word tally sheet that they write up during each appointment.

THAT’S a fricking SENTENCE.

Did he say it again? Oh, heck no.

Boy, you are killing me.

PS – Happy one month old day, Baby Cousin!!
