An aside during prayer

At bedtime last night, the Webmaster and I were praying with Ane, as we do every night.

The Webmaster: And please, dear Lord, keep Daddy from going crazy at work.

Me: And please keep Mommy from going crazy at home.

Ane: (whispering to me) Sorry.

You’d think she had a guilty conscience or something…
