Your prayers are needed

If you’ve seen the news recently, you know that there are wildfires in southern California that are burning out of control, despite valiant efforts from firefighters to contain it. The wind is creating a disasterous situation, and homes are burning.

In the middle of all of this are blog friends Childs Play x2 and Amazing Trips. Matthew updated this morning – the cars are all packed, and he expects to receive an evacuation notice at some point today. Jen has also packed everything essential up and is waiting for the same notice. Both are tasked with keeping their young children (Matthew’s twins are 2, Jen’s triplets are 3 and she has a 3 month old baby as well) under control and not letting them know just how bad this could be.

Please, everyone, keep them in your prayers over the next few days. Pray for their safety and that the weather starts to cooperate, so the firefighters can get a handle on containing the blaze.

And, if you have any more prayers to spare, our friend Little Mo, who has been valiantly battling leukemia, has had a bad reaction to her flu shot – fever and vomiting. She needs prayers for a quick and painless recovery. It’s just a shame that something that is supposed to protect her is making her sick.

I will update both of these prayer requests as I get more information.
