Trick or treat!
May I introduce… Ballerina Ane!
And… Pirate Tad!
They had a great time together.
We hit all the important places… Obachan’s, Grandma and Gichan’s, the neighbors… and came home with more candy than the kids should ever really eat. Grandma gets kudos for the sugarless poppylocks.
While we were at Grandma’s, Ballerina Ane “played” the piano…
… and Pirate Tad “danced” a jig.
Don’t worry, the sword he’s carrying is made of a hard foam (thanks again to Friend and Doc for letting us borrow it!), and no one lost any limbs over the course of the evening, or had to walk the plank.
However, Mommy and Daddy need to walk off the calories they’ve ingested. After all, there’s only 21 more days until Thanksgiving turkey… was I supposed to say that out loud?

They look great! Although Ane looks a little chilly for a Washington autumn evening. I finished up a roll of film last night on the girls and will get it developed soon, so I can send you duplicates.

So cute!
I love the one with arms around each other. That one will be priceless when they’re adults.
