I wish I knew what to write about

My weekend, while full of beautiful weather, wasn’t anything to really blog about.

Grandma and Auntie arrived home from C-O-L-D Missouri on Friday. Nana and Papa (the Webmaster’s parents) visited on Saturday and we all went out to lunch. Sunday was quite typical – go to church, take naps, go to Friend and Doc’s house for dinner and let the kids watch They Might Be Giants: Here Come the 123’s while the adults tried to decide which Mariner games to go to this season – tickets go on sale Saturday! We always go to at least 4 games a season together. We’ve done this for years – even before children. And with small children. And now without them, which is why we can only afford four games. Baby-sitters cost almost the same as tickets.

On a good note, I have been working hard on the stamping stuff, and have actually earned a commission this month! WOO-HOO!

On a frustrating note, I need a new purse/handbag. Mine has been a challenge since day one, and it is time to replace it, as stuff is trying to fall off it. Not so handy as a purse when the clasps holding the shoulder strap try to fall apart. Any suggestions? I do not need a name-brand purse, and I need something big enough to carry all the important stuff and the crap I’m currently toting around.

Okay, enough griping. I have cookies to bake, a bridal shower to go to (hence, the need for cookies – I am bringing a shortbread assortment to the shower, and may also take Ane with me), and a 5-star Sudoku puzzle to finish.

Maybe I will be less scatterbrained and more inspired tomorrow.

    Tell Bride, I say “hi.”

Oddball and I have been looking at purses for you every time we’re at “the purse store” (you know). The same as mine isn’t available anymore, but we’ve seen some nice ones! Too bad your birthday isn’t sooner.
