Predictions
I know you’re all waiting with baited breath to see who I think will be booted off American Idol tonight. But first of all, I agree with Simon – why two weeks of the Beatles?? I know that technically, it was the Lennon/McCartney catalog last week and only Beatles songs this week, but please. It’s all been a bit much.
That being said, Kristy should go. She has a nice voice, but she looks stiffer than cardboard when she sings. And she got the kiss of death from Paula last night – when Paula says “you look beautiful” before she comments on the singing, you are toast.
I also predict that Amanda will be in the bottom three. I am no longer interested to see what she sings each week, because I know that it will be loud and either rock or blues. She needs to shake it up, or she’ll get voted off simply for being predictable.
Today, we are off to the dentist. I predict that Ane will do pretty well, and that Tad will be enamored of the fish tank – in which our dentist keeps a Nemo cast ensemble, complete with anenome and cleaning snail.
I have to go shopping for a wedding gift. I predict that I will spend money. I also predict that the kids will spend time at the play area at the mall.

I’m finding David Archuleta and Michael Johns pretty boring. Two weeks ago I would not have predicted that I would be saying that. I thought David Cook and Syesha were actually pretty good. Again, two weeks ago I would not have predicted that I would think that. I guess I’m generally not very good at predictions.
I’ll go out on a limb and predict that all the piano students I see today will come rather unprepared to their lessons. Sigh. And I’ll predict that Sam will be pitiful and droopy all day with his cold but won’t take a nap. 🙂

Who’s the guy with the dreadlocks? He’s always looked familiar, like someone else, and last night it came to me: he looks like John Travolta in Battlefield Earth (the time when he had dreadlocks). This began to freak me out, so I just had to share.
Does this mean the Scientologists will all vote for him?

I predict that I’m going to be bored out of my mind at work today. And that we’re going to go out to lunch today, even though it’s the one day I actually brought my lunch… since the last 2 days I didn’t bring food and we didn’t.
I don’t know who’s who in American Idol… I don’t watch it much. But the guy in the dreds… I don’t like him too much. At least in the Beatles week.
