New Family Motto

Tad has a new role model – Stitch. This is probably worse than having Curious George as a role model. Interestingly, neither character speaks proper English. I wonder why Tad likes them? Hmmm…

I discovered yesterday that he calls Stitch “Chi” – which is along the same lines as calling George “Jor.” I managed to make him say it for the Webmaster last night, which prompted the Webmaster to do his Stitch voice. He can imitate Stitch very well, much to the delight of the kids. Tad promptly started giggling.

“He can’t say ‘Stitch’ yet, Daddy,” Ane piped up. “But don’t worry. We’re working on it.”

The Webmaster and I both busted out laughing. I can’t count how many times I have told Ane that when it comes to Tad’s speech, that “we’re working on it.”

“Maybe that should be our new family motto,” I told the Webmaster later.

American Idol – oh yeah. I’m good. Though Carly being in the bottom three was a real shock. That probably won’t happen again. And Kristy is living on borrowed time, I think – and she knows it.

When you’re done, may I borrow your copy of The Friday Night Knitting Club?

On the American Idol front: I think Kristy is slowly becoming this season’s “Sanjaya.” Her performances are not getting better and her vocals are pale to the rest of the contestants’.
