Easter Day

I hope everyone had a happy Easter!
Ane and Tad say Happy Easter!

All their Easter best

We certainly did. The Easter Bunny came to our house after church yesterday.
Tad gets more Cars!
The Easter Bunny clearly knows what Tad loves. He got a Cars puzzle, both “Dinoco” Lightning McQueen and “Crusin'” Lightning McQueen, and his Obachan even gave him the Cars Crayola ColorWonder marker set.

Look, Dolly!
Ane got some fun things – including a backpack to carry Dolly around in. This will make traveling with Dolly so much easier in the future – especially for plane flights. She also got a rag doll Cinderella (who now joins Ariel, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty), but it’s never enough… Right after she hugged her new Cinderella for the first time, she looked at me and said, “Mommy, there’s just one more princess missing… Belle!”

Which is EXACTLY what she said the last time she got a Princess rag doll. Except that last time, she was “missing” Cinderella. Somehow, I think this scam is never-ending.

We had an Easter dinner up at my grandparents’ house in Snohomish. It was also Great-Grandpa’s birthday! We all had a good time.

Some of us more than others…
Gichan 'bounces' Tad

And some of us got a nice addition to their piggy bank in their Easter eggs.
Look what I got!

So, how was your Easter Sunday?

I think Ane is forgetting that Little Cousin has a Mulan rag doll that she greatly envies.

Easter was laid back after church. We did our baskets and photo session before Church, before the girls could get their dresses dirty.

I LOVE the dress Ane’s wearing; my girls will have to borrow that. Little Cousin loved her Easter dress. After she put it on she walked around saying “Oh, pretty!” Baby Cousin’s dress was a little big, so the fluffy skirt somewhat overwhelmed her.

I’m impressed you got them to sit still enough for a photo. And smiling too!

TheMonk stood next to Swee’Pea for about three seconds and refused to smile.

    Happy Easter!

We also had a nice Easter with sisters, brother-in-law and Ol’John in attendance. Lisa and Brian popped in after dinner.
And everyone, as required, took home one of Great-gramma’s bells. There are still many left. But they are going, going…..Dong!
