More Cold

I was right. Tad had no school yesterday – the district started late, so they automatically cancel preschool. However, I’m thinking we’ll have better luck today. The roads are much clearer, even if the high temperature is going to be somewhere around 30 degrees. I’ll dress Tad warmly for school. We might be out of luck after that, though, because it looks like another storm might be coming through.

The kids begged me to let them go and play outside yesterday, and I finally did, if only to prove to them that it is too cold to play outside – and that the snow this time around isn’t the good stuff.

In case you’re wondering what Ane built there on the bench, it is a snow mountain. Perhaps her version of Devil’s Tower. I fully expect the aliens will be calling her out of the house in the dead of night soon. I hope she remembers her coat and boots.
