Friday’s Child

On Friday morning, I got a phone call from Handy Mom’s (formerly known as Handy Girl) sister, who asked if I could come and pick up Handy Boy (formerly known as Handy Baby) and keep him until… sometime later.

Handy Mom and Handy Dad were blessed with the arrival of Handy Baby 2.0 – little Handy Girl – on Friday afternoon while her brother was happily oblivious at the Corner Haus, playing with all his favorite toys and Ane, and putting Tad’s nose out of joint because he was getting into Tad’s toys.

Handy Boy went home on Friday evening after dinner to his aunt, and on Saturday, Ane and I stopped by at the Handy Home for our first peek at Handy Baby Girl.

Handy Girl weighed in at 6 pounds even, 20 inches long, 100% adorable. I haven’t seen her with her eyes open yet, but I’m sure I will soon. This is one very special and much-wanted baby girl.

The Group o’ Friends count now stands at Boys 9, Girls 4.
