A sign of summer

Part 1 in a series.

Rainier cherries. Feast your eyes upon their sweet, blushing goodness. Available locally now at the Yakima Fruit Market (and other grocery stores around here, but YFM has the cheapest price for them per pound at the moment).

The Webmaster and I, being Northwest natives, are particularly fond of this cherry. Let it be noted that this is probably the only thing that I like that was created at Washington State University. (Oooh, I made the Cougars mad…)
