Officially hot

Yesterday was the hottest day in recorded Seattle area history. The kids and I spent a chunk of it at the mall to escape the heat.

Today is only supposed to get to 99 degrees. But it’s also supposed to drop below 70 by tonight – thank goodness.

In the meantime, we borrowed some fans (thanks, Dale) and I have a squirt bottle handy to keep the kids under control and cool.

    When we we are SeaWorld we bought a Shamu spray bottle with a fan attached. That this is great! We take it with us on hot days.

    John said he put on sweats and jumped in the shower a couple of times. Just went around the farm in wet clothes all day! I worked!
