How She Really Feels

Tad has a standard script he uses whenever he sees someone that he hasn’t seen recently – but for him, recently can mean only an hour or so ago.

Take, for example, what he says when the Webmaster comes home from work. When the Webmaster walks in the door, Tad squeals, “Daddy’s home! Oh, Daddy, I love you, Daddy!” And then he runs to give his Daddy a hug.

So yesterday, when he and I picked Ane up from school, he cried, “Oh, Ane’s here! Oh, Ane, I love you, Ane!”

Ane hugged her little brother, gave him a kiss, and said, “I love you too, Booger.”

That pretty much sums up the good side of their relationship, don’t you think?
