Drumroll, please

Yesterday, I had an ultrasound. The Webmaster, Ane and Tad were all there.

The baby looks very good and very healthy. Then the ultrasound tech said, “Are we finding out what this baby is?”

“YES,” I said.

She moved the doppler wand over my belly, and said, “Uh-huh. Take a look.”

And it was so obvious that even my untrained eye could see it.

Baby #3 is… a BOY!

Because nothing like THAT comes attached to a girl.

The cousin tally will stand for now at girls: 6, boys: 2!

We are very happy with how healthy this little guy looks – and now we actually have to start thinking of a name, now that we know what gender we have to work with. This is the hard part!

And happy birthday to the Captain, who is very busy switching commands at the moment!

Until you’ve picked a real name, I’m going to call him “Gary.” I know you won’t name him that, so I’m not spoiling anything. Ever since I first saw “The Music Man” I wanted you to have a boy named “Gary” so I could sing “Gary, Indiana” at you. Get it? Don’t laugh! I was little!
