Christmas 2009

We had fun. Non-stop fun.

Head, Ane, Rupert, the Brain, & Tad

First was our Christmas exchange with Friend and Doc and the boys.

Christmas Eve at Nana & Papa's

Then we spent Christmas Eve at Nana and Papa’s house…

Tad's new favorite toy

… where Tad’s favorite toy wasn’t even a gift. It was the Webmaster’s old X-wing (and yes, we brought it home with us).

Cookies for Santa

Tad and Ane came home and left out cookies and milk for Santa (while Tad still clutched the X-wing).

Christmas morning!

They then slept in on Christmas morning. The Webmaster and I finally had to wake them. It didn’t take them long to get into opening up their stockings and the presents under the tree.

Tad and Ane enjoyed their Christmas presents at home…

… but we had to finish up and get to Grandma and Gichan’s for stockings, presents, and Christmas Day brunch.

Eating is tiring work!

Sometimes, all the excitement just wears you out. Baby Cousin didn’t quite make it through brunch (which was after stockings but before presents), but she was still making a valiant effort to eat her pear bread toast.

Resiss and Tad

So we waited for Baby Cousin to wake up, and hung out together.

Cousins at Christmas

Finally, the big moment came, and there was much unwrapping and yelling and fun. And more food. And lots of cookies and treats. It was a very full day, which was followed up by two more Christmas celebrations with more family, and Ane’s birthday.

But Christmas was a special day.

Our family, Christmas Day 2009

We hope your Christmas was a special day, too!

It wore me out just thinkin about your busy week. I did go to Ron’s Christmas Day and stayed oveer night. But a much calmer holiday than the Fishers! And not as many presents.
