Reading Update

Ane is still plugging away at this whole reading thing.  She still prefers to be read to, but is doing much better at reading to either the Webmaster or me.

However, she sometimes just doesn’t want to bother.

Over spring break, I told her that she needed to read to me.  She responded with a note left outside her door, which read:

plez
dot
mac
me
t re
to
my
mom

It was written on old calculator paper, so it’s on a strip about 2 and half inches wide, which is why there’s only one word per line.

Translation?  “Please don’t make me read to my mom.”

She still had to read to me – and I kept the note for posterity.
