At Our House

We keep busy in the evenings here at our house.  When the weather isn’t good and we have to stay inside, we try to stay occupied without watching too much TV.

Rerun will hang out – and occasionally nap – in the cradle.

Tad loves drawing with markers – not crayons, not colored pencils, markers – and will draw all sorts of things.

He also likes to practice his letters.

Ane gets her homework in a packet on Mondays, and then can spend the rest of the week working on it, turning it in on Fridays.

There is usually one math worksheet and one writing worksheet that focuses on a letter.  She does very well at her homework, when Tad isn’t bugging her.

And by this point, Rerun is good and tired of the cradle, so he wants to be picked up.  He likes sitting my lap, and being talked to.

Sometimes, he even smiles about it.

Tad was trying to “tickle” him – but I don’t think the top of anyone’s head is ticklish.

So, as you can see, we keep busy.  It doesn’t always keep everyone out of trouble, but we try.

I’ve noticed Tad is rarely in socks. Typical. And Ane is so serious and focused. And Rerun gets cuter every day.
