Behold the thumb-sucker

Sometimes, even though he hasn’t really discovered his hands, Rerun gets lucky and scores a thumb.

Shhh… don’t tell our dentist.  Besides, I am determined that he will not be a thumb-sucker.  He’s much more pacifier-dependent than Ane or Tad ever were, but the beauty of the pacifier is that you can take it away.  You can’t detach a thumb from a kid’s hand.

So I always pull the thumb out after I take a picture.

    You know, Baby Cousin (who needs a new blog name) is a thumb-sucker. I still say “is” because she does it when she’s tired, but she doesn’t walk around the house doing it “just because” anymore. If Rerun’s a thumb-sucker, he WILL grow out of it. It is not the end of the world.
