Shark Brinner

For those of you not in the know, “brinner” is the made up word for “breakfast for dinner.”

This was our brinner last night:

I call it “shark pancake over a ham-and-egg reef.”

I was kind of proud of my freehand pancake art… until I showed it to Tad.  “What’s that?” he asked.

Did you hear that shattering sound?  That was my fragile ego hitting the kitchen floor.

He did figure it out… and then demanded more shark pancakes.  He ate four of my artistic interpretations of a shark in pancake batter, plus his ham-and-egg reef.

I wonder… if I make all his food look like sharks, will he try new foods?  Hmm…
