Hello, March

I can hardly believe it.  Here we are, and March is coming in like a lion for Nana and Papa and all the family in Lewis County.  I hope that you can dig yourselves out of the snow soon!

In the meantime, here is something that you might choose to do on a snowy day:

This probably wasn’t one of Auntie’s smarter ideas, but Tad had a ball.  She set up pop cans in Grandma and Gichan’s backyard and she and Tad had some target practice with Auntie’s air rifle.

Like all boys, Tad thinks if it goes BOOM, it’s great fun.

Auntie was very controlled about the whole thing, and even though I had my misgivings about letting Tad near a projectile weapon, obviously it went well and was very safe.  I’m the one behind the camera.

In fact, they were having so much fun that Ane wanted a turn.  Naturally.  Auntie’s opened up a can of worms, but she has only herself to blame.  Fortunately, she’s going to be so busy with softball that the kids probably won’t have a chance to bug her about shooting again anytime soon.

Are you sure that Auntie isn’t from East Lewis County?

Either me or your brother will be getting Tad a BB gun of his own (his birthday is coming up). If the Web Master disagrees tell him it is either a BB Gun or a Puppy, he can pick.
