Doctor Rerun
As we’ve been cleaning up the kids’ rooms for packing up and moving around, Rerun discovered the play doctor kit.
He loves it. And because he’s a highly observant boy, he apparently knows what he’s supposed to be doing with these medical tools. Here, he’s trying to take the temperature of a tyrannosaurus rex.
And lately, he’s taken to wearing the toy stethoscope around his neck all the time.
He even wore it out of the house to the grocery store yesterday. It’s very cute.
And just in case he becomes a doctor someday, I’ve got the pictures to prove that at 18 months, he’d already chosen his career. Regardless, this child is probably the most sharp-eyed mimic I’ve ever known.

Take advantage of this! I’ve been saying for years that we need an orthopedic surgeon and a dentist in the family! Groom him for medical or dental school!
We also need a mechanic. See what you can do about that, my girls won’t go for it.

SPU has a very high acceptance rate into med school. Just saying.
