Ichthyologist in Residence

One of Tad’s favorite shark documentaries is “Ultimate Shark” by National Geographic (which we have recorded and saved on our DVR).  The reason it is one of his favorites is because it features a dissection of a great white shark.

Which got recreated on the living room couch last night.

The Duplos are the shark’s innards, which Tad was carefully removing and describing for us, using the tail of his plastic great hammerhead shark as his scalpel.

Sometimes, I just have to stand back and laugh.  I never thought I would have a shark being dissected on my couch.

Is this an “ew” or an “aw” moment?

I think this won’t be the last of your ‘stand back and laugh’ or be awed. This kid is amazing!

This is TOO funny! With a little imagination (or a lot, in Tad’s case) it really could look real!
