Classic Toys and Shapes
When Ane was little, there was a Tupperware stand in the mall. I bought this toy, because we had one when I was a kid and I knew mine would love it. And they each have. But Rerun, smart little cookie that he is, is actually learning shapes with this toy.
So far, he knows circle, square, triangle, star, and both pentagon and hexagon are called “agon,” thanks to this song – which is also helping in his memorization of shapes.
I can hardly keep up with all the new words he is learning, not to mention that his communication skills are improving. I should write a post about that! But not today.
