Letter Writing

I got a text from the Major yesterday that informed me that his girls – known on this blog as the B Squad – love getting mail, so send them a note if we get a chance.

Ane took that as a challenge and wrote a newsy letter to her cousin Belle.  Which meant I was spelling words every three minutes. I just read over the letter and while I am impressed with her flow of thought, her punctuation needs some serious work.  Still, not bad, and I’m sure that Belle will enjoy it.  I’m going to write Berry and Beth each a quick note from me, and then we’ll mail it off.

I told Ane that Little Cousin deserves a letter next.  I think that’s on her list of things to do when she gets back from her overnight camping trip with Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa.  She’ll have lots to say then!
