Follow Up Report

All right everyone, here’s what we know…

The Webmaster is resting comfortably at home.  Surgery went well – just a little over 2 hours.  He has a check-up today, but will probably start physical therapy in a week.  He’s been pretty tired and loopy with the meds he’s on, but that will pass.

Auntie did a fantastic job as stand-in mom and baby-sitter.  Both Ane and Tad got on their school buses with their lunches in their backpack.  Then she went out with Rerun to trade cars with Gichan, which allowed me to get the Webmaster home and settled without a crazy toddler trying to climb all over his dad.  Then they came home for his nap, and I was able to put him down myself.  Then she kept an eye on both Rerun and the Webmaster while I took Ane and Tad to their swimming lessons (which have been moved to Thursdays).  I got pizza on the way home.

We’ll have a quiet, relaxing weekend at home, letting the Webmaster heal up, and then start a full week of school on Monday for the kids with all of our regular activities.  Once he can, the Webmaster will probably work from home to start with.
