Rewards

Someone used the potty again yesterday.  While I’m not actively stripping him down and really pushing the potty, I am leading him to it whenever I find him dry to see what happens.  I want him to get the idea that the potty is a good thing, and that he can be comfortable using it.

And he keeps proving that he can relax enough to use the potty.

So there are rewards for such actions.

The cookie of choice this time was a chocolate Joe-Joe (from Trader Joe’s – think an Oreo with chocolate filling).

I am all for leading him slowly along the path of rewards and bribery to smooth the potty-training road later.  Bribery works!!!
