Christmas Debrief – Part 4

Our festivities finally ended with dinner at Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa’s house last Saturday.

Before presents were opened, though, Tad recited part of Luke, chapter 2, for us (courtesy of his excellent memory and A Charlie Brown Christmas).

Then the kids got to open their presents from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa.  Rerun got Cars footwear – slippers and boots!

Tad got a LEGO set he’d really been wanting, which didn’t have Batman in it.  It does have other superheroes that he knows well, though.

And Ane, who got a Merida doll from her brothers on Christmas morning, also got Merida’s mother, Queen Elinor, from the movie Brave.

Rerun wasn’t quite done with opening presents, though, so he tried to help Obachan out.

And so, our Christmas celebrations came to an end.  I can safely say that the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves this Christmas, got lots of fun things (not all of them toys, even!), and are sad to see this season come to an end.

Our Christmas debrief is now over (finally!) – thanks for sticking with me through it all!
