Flashback Friday

I don’t have a lot of Valentine photos.

What I do have is a very cute picture of cousin love in pink T-shirts with hearts on them.

And that’s the best I’ve got.

The two older kids had their Valentine parties at school yesterday, and Tad had so much to tell me when he got off the school bus about them.  It was very sweet.  He had two parties – his class and his buddy class – and came home with TONS of Valentines.  Ane had her class party, and was very concerned that her teacher needed a treat, too.  Fortunately, I know her teacher is a HUGE Trader Joe’s fan, and I had dark chocolate peanut butter truffles all ready to send.

Ane and Tad handed out Dum Dums with their Valentines, because they are completely allergen-free and kids love suckers.

And now I have to figure out what to do with these kids for a week, because Presidents’ Day is Monday and it’s the start of their midwinter break.  Oh, boy.  I hope we survive.

As a parent to a kid with a food allergy, I appreciate that you used allergy-free Dum-Dums. I do the same.

Perhaps the bean and I will have to come by next week for a distraction?
