So Much To Do…

This is birthday week around here!  I’ve got a little boy who is turning THREE on Friday, and a party to throw for him on Saturday!

A Veggie Tales one.

And I’m nesting, so the house is getting tackled in different areas each day.  This has been ongoing for a while.  Ane’s room got a big clean up just before Lina spent the night.  The bathroom went through a purge/reorganization in conjunction with the linen closet.  The boys’ room got tidied, but is about to get slightly rearranged to accommodate Thumper’s clothes.  I spent Saturday cleaning up the master bedroom to make room for the basinette, and to just clean/purge junk that had been in there for a VERY long time.  For example, there was a box of tulle-wrapped votive candles under our bed, absolutely covered in dust.  Those were leftover wedding favors from our wedding, 12 and a half years ago.

If anyone wants lilac-scented votive candles before I donate them, let me know.  (I saved a few wrapped ones for posterity.)

I’m about to plunge into my crafting corner… which, sadly, looks like the ninth circle of hell.  It is a HUGE mess.  It’s so bad that it really isn’t functional at all, and depressing to look at.  No, I’m not taking a picture of it.

But it will be SO worth it to get it cleaned up.  (I might need backup, though.)

In the meantime, I am still trying to keep up with the three kids and their needs and laundry and lunches and homework and potty training and… there’s more, but I just get tired thinking about it.

So, no more thinking.  Just cleaning.  And party prepping.  Thank goodness Costco has mini pizza bagels back in stock again.  (Just so you know, Auntie.)
