New Laundry Rule

I just made an announcement to all the people who live in this house:

If you have only worn clothes for half a day, and then change clothes, and the clothes you are changing out of are not dirty or stained in any way, PUT THEM AWAY TO WEAR AGAIN LATER.

I had to make this statement to my eldest, after sorting laundry and discovering that BOTH her changes of clothes from Sunday (which she probably wore for 6 hours each and they were perfectly clean) were in the wash.

I AM NOT THE LAUNDRY FAIRY.

The sheer amount of dirty laundry is bad enough around here… I don’t want to be washing clean things, too!
