One Last Picture

Ressis and the kids left last Wednesday morning.  Tuesday afternoon, we had one final chance to get a group picture of the cousins together.  This was the best out of the four or five shots that I got – the kids were in our backyard.

It’s a good thing I took this before we tried to make the girls say good bye.  Ane burst into tears, and could not be consoled.  She finally ended up going with Auntie, Ressis, and the kids back to Grandma and Gichan’s house for the evening, where her father picked her up later.

Ane misses her cousins.  And I know they miss her.  Not sure they miss the boys, though – except maybe Thumper.

    Yes, they miss Ane very much (Little Cousin pines for her every day) and they miss Thumper too. Little Cousin reflects on how cute Thumper is, while Little Cowgirl laments that she was unable to teach him to crawl.

    Also, Little Cowgirl has not forgotten your promise to take her swimming next time.
