Batman Scarf

Tad had been bugging me about letting him wear gloves and a scarf to school, especially as  the weather has gotten colder.  Gloves were easy, as I just invested in a couple of pairs of $1 knit gloves from Target.  The scarf was a little harder, since Tad has a tendency to turn scarves into whips.  I decided that it would be easier to just make him a scarf, so I could control the width and the length.

This was the result:

Tad's Batman scarf

I only know two crochet stitches, but I made the scarf just long enough for him, then traced a Batman logo on black felt, cut it out, and sewed it onto the end of the scarf.

He loves it, and he knows it is HIS.

Rerun wants his own scarf now, too.

Well done! If only Wesley would let me knit him a scarf….
