Christmas Treats

I am doing my usual crazy menu of Christmas treats right now.  I am getting the thumbs up from Rerun on each one (since he’s around when I’m baking when the older two are at school, and since Thumper can’t sample the goodies, Rerun ends up being my official taste tester).

So far, I have made fudge…

Gingerbread Bears…

Butter Spritz…

… and I’ve tried out some new recipes this year, like Cranberry Orange Shortbread…

… and Cranberry Bliss Bars (my attempt to not buy more treats at Starbucks).  The Webmaster took them to work for a treats and appetizers potluck and these were a hit.

And I’m still not done!  I’m going to have to be soon, but I have lots of plates to give away as gifts!  School gets out on Friday and I have to be done baking by then!  It should be noted, however, that Rerun totally disapproves of my plans to give away most of these goodies.
