Track Ribbons!

Yesterday was the last “regular” meet before the Junior Olympics (in 2 weeks), and this time I got to go watch Ane!

She ran the 50 yard dash (she needs to not turn to look and see where everyone else is at), and she substituted in again in a relay race.  She also did the ball kick in the “field” portion of the meet.

Her relay team placed third (she ran the second leg of the race), and she tied for second in the ball kick (which meant that two second place ribbons were awarded and no third place one)!

She was really tickled about the ball kick one (her kick was 37 feet) because that was an individual ribbon and not a team one.  A little something to brag about at school, I’m sure.

I can’t believe we’re only a month away from the end of the school year.
