Junior Olympics!

The last track meet was the Junior Olympics, held at Woodinville High School (the alma mater of Auntie, Ressis, and the Major), with not two, not three, but FIVE elementary schools participating.  With such large numbers of kids, all of the track participants were limited to one event.  Ane did the ball kick, but with the bigger group of kids, didn’t place.  She got a participation ribbon…

… and a special cheer from Thumper, who was watching from the sidelines with me.

Thumper cheer!

Track has been a good experience for her, but I think she liked cross-country better.  We’ll see what she chooses to do next year.

And today is my sweet niece Little Cousin’s 9th birthday!  NINE.  How did that happen?  Happy birthday, Little Cousin!  We love you!

You’re telling me. I feel old. And short – she’s so tall!

Good for her, finding out what she enjoys the most!
