Party at the Pool!

The beginning of the year also means Danny’s birthday!  For the last two years, he’s had it at a local pool.  This year, all four of the kids went into the water.  Not because it made my life any easier, but because Thumper probably wasn’t going to sit in his Dad’s lap for an hour while everyone else played in the pool, and I was in there anyway.

And also because I know that Thumper is a little water baby.

He absolutely adores bath time, and running water, and the fountains in the toddler area of the pool were almost too much for him to take in.

A good time was had by all… until it was time to get out.  I handed a screaming Thumper to the Webmaster, then had to chase/drag both Tad and Rerun out.  While the lifeguards gave me dirty looks.  Fun times.

But Danny had a great birthday, and Tad loves spending time with his friend.

Birthday parties are a lot of work, but a lot of fun!
